I have had wildflower prarie for sometime. This help make identification easier..Not all plants come up the first year. Each year you may see a new plant and need to ID.This app helps a lot. Getting ready to plant seven acres so I know it will come in as a necessary tool.

Can not identify one plant I put on I wish I could get my money back.

I’m out walking dogs every day and I so often see wildflowers and don’t know their name. This app works great! I’m learning about the wildflowers around me. It’s educational and fun to find a new flower.

I am very disappointed with this app. It is not at all intuitive. It recognizes very few of the wildflowers I came across...even red clover. it gave a wide choice of options that were not even close to the flower I had taken a picture of.

So far it does what I want.

The reason I paid for this app is to use the photo identification feature. This doesn’t have a take the photo, it uses your eyes to look at a list. Very disceiving.

Useless

I find this to be almost worthless. After failing to ID several wildflowers I decided to try this app on a few common easily ID’d flowers that everyone knows. Common daylily was two screens down, about choice number 12 at 44%. It put an oxeye daisy as the fifth choice after coreopsis and three others. It couldn’t ID chicory or even a dandelion. It called a cardinal flower scarlet pimpernel and didn’t have cardinal flower as a choice. Basically worthless.

This app makes it easy to identify plants you see in the field. Well Done.

I have had this app for about a year. It is yet to help me identify a single flower. I have taken pictures of flowers I know just to see if it's working, a rose or a tulip and it identifies them as some obscure flower. I have tried taking pictures from several angels, still gets it wrong. I would not trust it to identify a plant I did not know.

Fast and pictures are great. Easy to use.

I am a Botany student and this app helps me in the field to identify plants that I am not familiar with. Though, I wish there were more plants and that the user interface was a more intuitive.

This app makes identifying plants I see in the wild quick and easy. It also makes it easy to look up plants I’d like to put in my yard and field and tells me what I need to know about them.

This app has taken the place of $300 worth of reference books! Fun. Easy to use, filled with great information. I do wish it could import photos for ID. Otherwise ally good.

Nice clear pictures!

The app offers a nice choice of the most widespread flowers around. It is easy to use and works perfectly for a beginner. The photo identification is fantastic. I tried it a couple of times and it swiftly brought me to the flower in question. Also nice way to get your kids to know more about nature!

Relatively incomplete, as are the other files in this series. Beautiful and fast.

Great app! The key system is very useful. My only complaint is that there are rather common plants that are left out. Flowers like valeriana officinalis are not in the app.

I like this app a lot and have been using it for a couple of weeks.

Very disappointed. I paid the 4.99 then read it doesn't have photo recognition. It should be removed from the title of he app as it is misleading. Bought it for photo app for wildflowers I can't identify. I can identify many and I don't want to have to scroll thought a bunch of pictures until I see something that looks similar. I'd like to get a refund.

Worst app on my phone

I bought the whole package, including wild flowers, mushrooms, bird id and bird song id. Bird song never works. It says my recordings aren’t loud enough, or long enough or clear enough. Wildflower can’t identify anything more than the half the time, AND every other time, it won’t even try saying I haven’t authenticated my email address. Haven’t tried mushrooms yet. Audubon Bird ID is so much superior and it’s free. This was a waste and a ripoff.

Although certainly not comprehensive, it is very useful for identifying the wild plants here in WI. I enjoy the feature that you can take a photo of the plant you've id'd and store in within the app.

Many flowers have several names. This app does not let you find a flower with a different name than the one chosen by the editor. In that case you should be able to search by the latin name. That is not possible either. I just wasted $5 on a totally useless app. A couple of examples are the two flowers Tussilago farfara or Coltsfoot. Not to be found. Another is Marsh blue violet. It is listed under Dog Violet, and it does not even mention the first name used by the reputable Petersons Guide to Wildflowers! I am throwing this app out from my iPad! I would never recommend it to a friend, I would tell him or her not to waste money on it.

I really like that you can look through and easily identify the flower that you are looking for.
